Do boy mice eat there babies?

I have two female mice and we want to mate them. I read that boy mice are good fathers and they take care of them. but i am not sure.Do boy mice eat there babies?
Male mice do not eat their babies. The only thing you should remember is to separate the father and mother after any baby mice are born to prevent them breeding again right away. Sometimes, mothers will eat their babies if they die or if the mother is under extreme stress or feels threatened but this is not a common occurrence. Good luck and hope this helps...Do boy mice eat there babies?
Separate mother and father, so mum has privacy for the birth. Once the babies have hair, you can let them back together. But you must have enough room, meaning a big cage. Otherwise it might happen. Also remember that they will probably breed again. So how many mice do you want? Personally I would keep the boys separate, but the babies also grow and sexually mature quickly and can breed with mum and their sisters. Breeding mice is not a good idea. Too many!

Also keep a thought for the father, don't leave him all alone in a cage, have 1 cage with mum and the babies and one with 2 brothers, that way the father is not alone and mum has privacy. then in a few weeks you need to sex the babies and once they are weaned (when they can eat by themselves) separate the boys from the girls. Otherwise you will be drowning in mice, LOL. Watch out, it happens very quickly!!
Male mice may eat their babies. Sometimes they can, sometimes they don't. However, it's always best to separate them the day you come in and find baby mice on the bottom of the cage. Saying that, make sure you have a suitable cage for daddy too and, when the babies are older, either get a bigger cage for all the mice or make sure you have several cages to avoid over-crowding them.
They can, it is always wise to separate them..
i dont know about mice but male rats will eat their babies. :S
