I need help with getting rid of mice?

ok so here is the deal. i just moved into a new place and the person who lived here before me left the place a real mess it didn't look like he clean the whole the he lived here. and while i was cleaning up his mess i find allot of mice crap so now i don't no if i have any in my place or what but i need to no 2 things how to get rid of them and if its true that if they smell cats they will not come into your place.. SO SOMEONE PLEASE HELPI need help with getting rid of mice?
You can get mouse traps, but only the ones that don't hurt them! Once you've caught them you should release them at a park or a small forest.I need help with getting rid of mice?
hun get traps lots of uhm and spray your house really good stay at a friends house for 3 days and every day ceme back to spray.. Wrap ur house objects... Then when you come back get 2 cats.. the cats will ketch them and kill them.. And their goes your prblem :)

oobviously you need mouse traps. jesus christ why do people ask such stupid questions.
I have rat problems. I understand why you might not want to get normal rat traps because lots of people don't want to move a dead rat or mouse body. I hav a ton of these and they really work! But instead of using peanut butter use rat poison. Also if you don't have any pets you could spread rat poison throughout the place. Hope this helped and best of luck!
