Cat food manufacturers want to please the human pet owners. Mice are commonly known to carry lots of diseases and therefore have an ewww factor that would not impress people as being best for their cat.
Ha ha its because scientists haven't found out how to put the whole entire delicious taste of mouse in one packed sized kibble ^^
That is an excellent question! Cats love to eat mice more than chickens and cows or even salmon! :) How gross would that be for us cat owners though? Ewwww...chopped up mice.
