One of my mice has an injured tail. Will it be okay?

One of my two female mice has an injured tail. The tip is black with white sticking out, which I believe is the bone. I don't know if the other mouse has been nipping at it or not. The injured mouse tends to be chased by the other one. I don't think the tail got caught on anything. Will it heal okay? I can't afford to take a mouse to the vet.One of my mice has an injured tail. It sounds like the skin was degloved, which can be a very painful injury. If it is just the very tip, it is no longer bleeding, and the mouse seems otherwise fine you can probably leave him and it will eventually dry up and the end may fall off (if it is black it sounds like it has already dried up). If you can afford to take him to the vet in the near future it would still be a good idea, at the very least to have the wound cleaned and disinfected and for him to receive some pain medication. The vet may also prescribe antibiotics to help fight off infection. As long as the other mouse isn't bothering the wound it is all right to leave them together. I hope he gets better soon, good luck! One of my mice has an injured tail. Will it be okay?
Try cleaning he wound with hidrogen peroxide (H2O2) i dont know how is it call in english, but its the one you use to clean wounds that react with blood and makes bubbles...

The other mice will try to get the wounded so It will be a smart move to separate the injured mouse from the rest until its good... The tail will fall of or heal, but you should clean it alt least once a day for a week, then see what happens

Antibiotics will not be really necesary unless the infection stars going up the tail to the body.

Good luck!
Most times they will bite it off. It may not heal though so i would take it to the vet. it should live as long as it gets immediate attention.
I also feel that you could probably leave the mice alone and things will sort themselves out in time.
