The baby pidgeon killing is probably illegal. The rats and mice...if they're tame and pets, that's at least immoral if not illegal. If they're wild rats, they're considered vermin and pests and it's not illegal. If they enjoy it, then they're just sick.

what are the circumstances around this? When i worked at an egg farm, i killed pigeons all the time because they carry diseases and could infect the poultry houses, and if i saw a rat i would kill it too. in my state pigeons and rats/mice are both vermin and are not illegal to be killed.


and even though there is a very serious link between animal torture and serial killers, i don't think instant death by a shovel is cruel or torturous
