What is the only time that there are no mice in the feild?

i have never known and i was wondering. What is the only time that there are no mice in the feild?
Mice are foragers so they will only go to the Fields to collect food for winter. Also mice are mostly seen in dusk or night. If you do have mice you are most probably looking at a harvest door mouse or a yellow necked door mouse or a very common Field mouse. What is the only time that there are no mice in the feild?
There is no time when mice are not in the fields...they may be in nests during mating season and during sold weather, that's why they gather all seasons just to prepere for einter, they store their food in the ground and go back and get it. Very smart critters and they also try to move in in the fall and spring...that's when they build their nests and heated homes, attics, cellars and places like that are very welcoming. why???
