I really want to know why does steinbeck make friendship an important theme.. please someone help me :D Why does Steinbeck make friendship an important theme in the novel?(Of Mice And Men)?
I am only 14, so sorry if this is wrong, but i read this book a year ago with school, but i dont remember all of it.


But didnt lenny used to ask george about the story, where it was about that other guys dont have anyone to lean on, but lenny has george and george has lenny, and everyone else back then didnt have anyone.

Maybe because at the time they were living in, people were trying to get ahead in life on their own. And that maybe life was better lived when you share it.
