1) What is Lennie's state of mind as he hides out in the clearing prior to the arrival of George?

I think he was worried about George, finding out what he was going to do to Lennie after he killed Curley's wife and his puppy.


Maybe, he also thought that he will never get to tend the rabbits because he had done something very, very terrible.Anyone studying or Reading Of Mice and men and would like to help me out ? Please :) I have read the book ...?
I read this book over the summer and it was a great book! But this is a very tough question.





Umm... I guess that he was worried and frighted of what George was going to do to him after he finds out that he killed the puppy and Curly's wife
