Mice in house, need to get rid of them!?

I have mice in the house, first time. What causes them to invade your house? what is the best to get rid of them, I have tried the mice traps, they just take the cheese or PB and do not get caught and i have also tried pails of water with PB around the rim, have had no luck with that either.Mice in house, need to get rid of them!?
Mice in the house are actually very common. They're just looking for a warm place to spend the winter - and breed. I have two suggestions that I have used myself over the years.





First suggestion: get a cat. I have two cats, Xanie and Diesel, and between them and my mother's himalayan, mice don't survive very long in our home.





Second, if you can't get a cat, get an unneutered male mouse and keep him as a pet in a cage. Here's why: when a female mouse scents the urine of a strange male mouse, she not only aborts her litter, she will NOT reproduce until she finds that male. And because your male is in a cage, she won't find him and she won't have babies either. (Yes, I've had pet mice. Ember, Ashes, and Xenos. It really does work!)

patients is key that will help get rid of your mice. keep trying these tricks and wait a while that goes on clean then leave the house for a few hours that way the mice will either leave from the cleanliness or come out from hiding and get got and maybe try those strips of adhesive
whatever you do do not use the posion I tried that when we moved in a new house that had mice in it and it was horrible the smell cause they went into the walls and died try the sticky glue traps everyone I have talked to said that it worked
