Is a half inch bar spaced cage too big to keep mice in? Should i try and find something smaller? I have 4 mice

It might be a little on the large side considering that rat cages should have max. bar spacings of that size too, and rats are four times the size of mice.
Keep the cage--get a cat.
It could be... in fact if your unsure then I wouldn't even try finding out what would happen. It would be terrible if they got out so I wouldn't risk it if I were in your shoes!


So I would try and find a cage with smaller bar spacing, if you have any doubt, like I say, don't risk it! =]
