Yes and no. He knows he does things ';wrong'; - such as killing the mice by holding them too tightly, and his honestly heartfelt apologies to George support this- but I do not think he actually has the intellectual capacity to pinpoint it as a specific mental disability as such.In Of Mice and Men, is Lennie aware of his intellectual disability?
I think he isn't aware of having a disability but he is vagely aware of being 'different' and 'unintelligent'.
