Will a guinea pig keep mice away?

i have a guinea pig but it is currently at my parents. since he has been there we have been having a mice problem in the house. if we bring him back will it keep the mice away?Will a guinea pig keep mice away?
no sweety.. it'll probably just freak the mouse like ';dang!!! he's a big one, kewl...!!!';

mice doesnt care at all... he'll probably hide but dont expect them to pack their things and leave.

besides, guinea pigs are too gentle and probably they'll both check out each other. its their instinct to be nosy and curiousWill a guinea pig keep mice away?
NO!!! but they're nice anyways
i heard the same thing about piggies keeping rats and mice away in germany. we had two guinea pigs(who were surplus from a zoo) that lived in our cow barn in a huge cage. havent seen any rodents, but hey it was a barn, they could have hidden.
No. Where did you hear that?
