could you also give me advice on taking good care of them? and do they have any diseases my family could catch? is it ok to keep the two mice in separate cages that are see through next to each other, so they don't get lonely I need advice on male mice ?
Male mice are difficult to introduce, but they do not usually need to be housed singly. Just get 2 brothers that have always lived together.
To prevent fighting you need to make sure they have plenty of space so get the largest size cage you can. You should have at least 2 hideys in the cage so they can sleep seperately if they want to. With males it is good to have hideys with more than one exit so they can't corner one another. If necessary you can duplicate other resources too, such as having 2 water bottles, wheels, food bowls etc. (Scatter feeding is better than bowls anyway and prevents food guarding).
Pet mice do not carry diseases that can affect your family.
For some great info (with particular references to male mice) check out this site. http://www.allaboutmice.co.uk/I need advice on male mice ?
As long as there's plenty of food, water, toys and enough room two male mice can live in the same cage. However they still may squabble from time to time. Only problem with male mice is their urine has a strong odor. You're going to have to clean out their cage often.
keep in the same cage and got no dieases
